NS Mura vs Tottenham LIVE: Latest score as Harry Kane nets equaliser after Lucas Moura tees him up

Here are Alasdair’s thoughts on that first half from Spurs

What is it about Tottenham and woeful away European performances this season?

This was another poor first half on the road and there will be very few positives for Antonio Conte to take into the dressing room at the break.

Davinson Sanchez’s defending for Mura’s goal was poor, even before he slipped, as he overshot Tomi Horvat who simply turned inside.

Then Ryan Sessegnon on his return to the starting line and following plenty of praise from Conte ringing in his ears, flew into a needless challenge in one of the most unnecessary areas of the pitch.

The second yellow and then red card was flourished and he can have little to complain about.

Tanguy Ndombele is trying to drive Spurs through the midfield and Bryan Gil has shown urgency up front, albeit with some reckless passing around his own box.

Matt Doherty got into some good areas down the right but often the final ball was lacking.

Elsewhere there’s little inspiration coming from Dele Alli and Harry Kane and it won’t be long before we see Lucas Moura and/or Son Heung-min enter the fray.

Even with ten men, Tottenham could find a way back into this match but they need to show so much more.
